Ann Marie's research asks how people value entangled life forms through practices of care. Her multispecies ethnographic work with people and dogs in Indonesia and the United States examines medical praxis, violence, intervention, and the multiple moral economies animating care work. Ann Marie holds an MFA in Poetry from University of Michigan Helen Zell Writers' Program, and was a Human-Animal Studies Fellow at Wesleyan University. Ann Marie has advanced to candidacy.
