Learning from the Qom: Human Life History in Perspective

Claudia Valeggia, a professor of anthropology at Yale University, will give a talk as part of the New Perspectives in Anthropology spring 2022 speaker series. 

Valeggia's work is primarily concerned with the interactions between human reproductive biology and the ecological and cultural context in which it develops. Her research interests include human reproductive ecology, reproductive endocrinology, maternal and child health, evolutionary demography, biodemography of aging, and health of indigenous populations in Latin America.
