Dr. Helal Khan wins Peace and Justice Studies Association Dissertation Award

Helal Mohammed Khan has been awarded the Peace and Justice Studies Association prize for the Best Graduate Thesis! The PJSA judging committee wrote: "Your work stood out among a highly competitive pool of submissions, and the selection committee was particularly impressed by your exploration of the timely issue of refugee resettlement. This award reflects your dedication, hard work, and significant contributions to peace and conflict studies." Helal defended his thesis in the summer of 2023 and is currently teaching at Georgetown, if you would like to look him up to congratulate him
