Princeton University awards PhD Helal Khan a RFMI grant!

Author: Eileen Barany

Princeton University has awarded Helal Khan one of their RFMI grants (Religion and Forced Migrant Initiative Grant, 2022-23). The grant (a modest $1000) will enable him to contribute to the Princeton RFMI project, for which he will work (online) with their Office on Religious Life and complete an oral history interview of a Rohingya refugee in Chicago, write a note on his experiences with Rohingya refugees in Saudi Arabia, and attempt some literary compositions celebrating refugeehood/refugee resettlement. The work will span the fall and spring semesters (2022-23).
